Challenging day at the Dutch Grand Prix

After a penalty for Alex Albon, Lance started the race from P8 on the Medium tyre.

At the end of Lap 30, Lance made his first and only pit stop. He pitted from P10 for Hard tyres and rejoined the track in P16.

While entering the pitlane for his pitstop, Lance experienced a lock up which unfortunately meant he exceeded the pitlane speed limit, resulting in a five-second penalty.

On Lap 40, Lance was part of a group of cars jostling for positions and he was able to successfully gain a place.

A few laps later, Lance made a solid overtake on Albon.

After a difficult Grand Prix, Lance concluded the race in P13.

His season will continue on 30 August-1 September with the Italian Grand Prix.

Lance Stroll, Aston Martin Aramco F1® driver, said:

We knew we had some faster cars starting behind us today, so it wasn't a surprise to see [Lewis] Hamilton and [Carlos] Sainz passing us. From that point on, the focus was on holding position as we didn't really have the pace in the car to challenge for more. We'll debrief on this weekend and then shift our focus to Monza, knowing we need to keep pushing to bring additional performance
